Dresser Redress :: Part V :: A fresh coat of paint

I’m so happy that it’s just about finished. I put on the first two coats of paint today. I’m letting it dry overnight and I’ll give it coats one and two tomorrow.

I’m confident that it will be dry and in the bedroom and all set up and in use by Tuesday. I’ll tell you about my plan for the next Apartment Redress project then.

Dresser Redress :: Fresh Coat

I haven’t been able to find a replacement wheel for the dresser, so I’m going to go ahead and take them off for now. I’m going to put the three I do have in a ziplock bag and put that in the bottom drawer, just in case I come across the 4th as I’m cleaning out the garage next week. I really did think she gave me all 4 and I think it might have fallen off when I was taking it out of the garage.

Check out Introduction, Part I, Part II, Part III, and Part IV of the redress project to see how it all came to this point. You can also see all the photos in the Redress Flickr set.

Well, it’s a beautiful night, so I’m going to go for a walk and pick up an ice cream sandwich and maybe some chips (I figure it balances out calorie wise, haha) and then get back to work on Craft Leftovers Monthly. Thank you so much to everyone who ordered a subscription, you totally make this all possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Keep it crafty and creative folks!
