Home Redress: A new home a new series!

newhome01

Before it’s always been “Apartment Redress.” Now that we are living in a house, I’ll continue the redress projects in my home. :)

First though, I want to give you an overview of the place. Today’s post is going to show what it looks like now. As we fix things up, I’ll post about it.

Redress: Butterick Dress Part 2

redress-butterickdress-feature

Hopefully this will be the last part before the finishing post. Taking your generous advice, I went with option 3. After thinking about it, the gathers with the gathered fabric would have looked frumpy for sure. I think the nice, straight cotton is perfect. Plus, once I cut it out, the landscape of flowers was just too perfect.

Redress: Thrift Store Adventures

thriftstore01

Redress: New Studio Check in Part 2

It’s been a month or so since I moved out of my home studio and into the office space. I decided to leave a workspace for myself at home so I could work on my painting and drawing there. Mainly my more messy crafts–dyeing, basket weaving, painting, paper making, collage,

Redress: New Studio Check in Part 1

It’s strange to think that I moved into my studio just 2 (well, okay, getting closer to 3) months ago.  How could I ever have done Craft Leftovers without it? And how could I have lived and cooked with it all smashed into every nook and cranny of the apartment?
