Thrift Kitchen: Sauerkraut with Polish Sausage and Potatoes
My dad and I love this dish. We are the only ones, ha. It definitely is only for those who love sauerkraut. If you are counted among those who do, you will love this dish! For me it's the ultimate comfort food, and because Jason doesn't care for it, I get it all to myself.
Wardrobe Redress: Cowboy Knit Tee
The most awesome shirt ever! It was a little too big in the shoulders and sides. In the book they talk about how, depending on the knit fabric, you might need some negative ease--I definitely did. I took in the sides and arm holes about 1 inch.
March Craft Leftovers Monthly: In the Shop!
This month Craft Leftovers Monthly is taking a nice long look into the world of plush! Recycled stuffing, knitting, crochet, stitching, and a little corned beef and cabbage for good measure! Lions, Tigers, and Bears, oh my!
ReRelease: Aceraceae Cowl
In fall 2008, I made this really sweet neck warmer inspired by the autumn trees. Since we are heading into spring, I thought it would be a good time to dust it off, spruce it up, and re-release it.
Shop n' Ride and Eat! Free Sewing Pattern
A funny thing happened in the last week though. While master minding my new glorious lunch tote, I started using my Shop n' Ride bag to hold my dishes. And my coffee mug. And my water bottle. It's the perfect size! And come the summer it will be guaranteed to fit in my bike basket too. That's perfect because it will stay upright even while I'm riding around town.
