Submissions are accepted for the Craft Leftovers Website and the Craft Leftovers Monthly zine. Please specify in your email which you are submitting your proposal for. Please include your name, website/blog, idea for your project, and a sketch/image/link of what the finished project will look like. Email submissions to kristin{at}craftleftovers{dot}com.

Compensation
$25 – $50 for articles, tutorials, and patterns
5 copies of the zine you contribute to for: giveaway or resale (if you have a shop)
Contributor distro – purchase copies of the issue you are in at wholesale pricing
Contributor spot on the website for the month you contribute
Bio included in the contributor section of the zine with links back to your shop/website/blog

Rights
Craft Leftovers Monthly retains first publishing rights for 90 days, after which point you are free to sell, redistribute, post, publish, and share your work as you see fit. You retain full copyrights to your work.

CL Website Submissions

1. Patterns and Tutorials – Scraps of this and that, recycled materials, leftovers and stash materials. Not just sewing, crochet, and knitting either, I love hand built projects of any kind.

2. Reviews – Book reviews are great! Unfortunately I can’t read all the books I would love to review. Write a review for a book/project/publication/site that you want to share with craft leftovers readers.

3. Interviews – Like books, there are so many people I would love to interview and it is impossible. Send me information on the interview you would like to share with Craft Leftovers readers.

+Will link back to your blog in the post
+You get a free sponsor spot for the week that you contribute or a full month if used in Craft Leftovers Monthly.

Do you have a website/blog/crafter/artist/book/project you think Craft Leftovers readers would love to know about? Do you know someone who does? Send me some links! I’ll spread the word! Would you like me to review, go over, show something specific like “wood turning” “paper filigree” “tapestry weaving techniques”, let me know! I’ll look into anything you would like to learn about. I’m open to suggestions!
