Re-Release:: Zip It!

I have always really liked this pattern because it’s so simple to make. And when you are recycling a skirt for fabric, it uses up that part that is hard keep in tacked. Use a little bit of bias or hem tape or ribbon to cover up the raw edge inside of the clutch and you have one really nice finished clutch in just a few minutes. Perfect.

I think I had overly ambitious plans for the weekend. I didn’t anticipate how completely worn out I was – creatively, physically, and mentally. By the time Saturday night rolled around I was in a craft coma of somekind and didn’t do anything for 4 hours straight. That just doesn’t happen…. well, I guess it does. It’s just been awhile since I’ve so completely let myself rest. It was awesome and perfect and I feel so much better now. I have a lot of updates and fun stuff so I’m going to write it up as a second post.

Happy Crafting!

    Very nice and way versatile. I’ll be linking. That four hour zone out sounds so nice. I love that post-break feeling. Sending wishes for a productive and balanced week!

    Quick and easy, great idea. Also wanted to tell you how much I enjoy the drawing of the zipper in the pattern!

    Thank you so much! I have a really cute skirt that no longer fits me, my DD has been begging me to make it into something for her and I couldn’t figure out what all I wanted to make, its big enough to be a skirt for her, a zip it bag and also a drawstring backpack… now I know where to start!
