Maker’s Apron :: Free Sewing Pattern!

Enter the Maker’s Apron. It’s a studio apron, cooking apron, garden apron, and painter’s apron. Calling it a Maker’s apron just made sense. Put it on and you are ready to go. The plan was just that it would be a little apron for wearing in the garden and I was going to give it away. Well, I tried it on and wore it around (just to see if it felt right on you know) and before I knew it, it was filled up with my phone, pencils, pens, erasers, paper, scissors and all sorts of other things. And I wore it the rest of the night. Then I was like “crap, I don’t want to give this away. I like it to much!” So I made another one today, just for the giveaway :) I hope the lucky winner will find it as useful as I have. I’m actually wearing it right now, haha. I’m going to cruise through all the comments and count up entries tomorrow, so you have until noon tomorrow to leave a comment and get your chance to win a sweet little apron, some seeds, and a little other thing that’s a surprise (aka I haven’t quite decided yet what the third thing with be).

  1. So cute! With all the gardening, sewing, and cooking I’ve got going on, that apron would definitely come in handy!

  2. I really like it. I have been thinking that I need something similar for my evening wear at home. It seems I will be somewhere and the boys will need something signed and I have to get up and track down a pen. Or I need to cut something and I have to go get scissors. For me, I think it would be great to have a pen, paper, and scissors handy at all times.
